What the heck?

I really like being outside. Like, a lot. And for the next 8 months at least I will be trapped in an office, trying to save the world by working at different environmental non-profits. So to keep my insides from going insane, I decided to take a picture of the outside every day. I will try to update daily, with each post including a picture and hopefully using that picture as a teaching/learning opportunity.

My camera is nothing special, except that it is mine. Purchased in 2006, it is a Canon Powershot SD450. I will use my camera, my binoculars, my notebook and my senses to try to learn more about the world around me. Simple enough.
